Reports of my death have been blah blah blah

Apologies for the lack of updates. We're (thankfully) back in Alabama now, although we're not quite sure where we're going next. The job market is pretty dead between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I'm just going to enjoy the holidays and sort everything out come January.

I'll post more later; just wanted to let everyone know I haven't fallen in a well.
